  Care Label

General cleaning: Hot water extraction machine method, professional cleaning strongly recommended. Use only proprietary brand upholstery detergent; do not use dishwashing or laundry detergent. Do not wet filling for pile fabrics. Gently vacuum to restore pile, dry in shade away from direct heat and sunlight, allow to dry thoroughly before re-use; or

On site dry cleaning machine method: Professional cleaning only, do not wet filling with solvent. Extract solvent thoroughly after application. Do not scrub with stiff brush. Caution exhaust solvent vapour outside building. Provide adequate ventilation during cleaning and drying. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use, avoid use of room during drying period; or

Shampoo method: Use proprietary brand upholstery shampoo, do not use dishwashing or laundry detergent, do not wet filling, and do not scrub with stiff brush. For pile fabrics gently vacuum to restore pile. Dry in shade and away from direct heat and sunlight. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use.

Spot cleaning: Treat spills and stains as soon as possible. Gently scrape any soil or mop any liquid from the surface of the fabric. Do not scrub with stiff brush, apply proprietary brand cleaning agents strictly according to instructions, test on inconspicuous area. Before use do not saturate the fabric or filling with water or other cleaning fluids. May be spot cleaned with dry cleaning solvent, reverse cushions regularly.

Pilling: Can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered as a fault. Fibre pills can be removed by a battery operated pilling tool available from most haberdashery stores.

  AquaClean®

Spot cleaning: The AquaClean Technology® eliminates any occasional and everyday stains from your upholstery without using the detergents or washing machine. To clean, remove any excess residue on the upholstery. Apply water over the stain, either directly or using a damp cloth. Wait a few seconds. Press down over the stain with a damp cloth and rub gently over the fabric in circular movements. If the stain does not come off completely, repeat the process as required.

Cleaning: Fabric is machine washable. Use neutral detergents where water temperature must be less than 3ºc. Can be dry cleaned. Keep at a minimum of 30cm away from direct heat source. Do not use bleach. Does not require ironing, only inner surface, maximum 110ºc. Do not tumble dry. Do not leave to drain, wring or spin. Do not dry in the sun. For appropriate hygiene, it is advisable to vacuum the upholstery regularly, using a soft brush.

  Care Label

Spot cleaning: Spot clean only with water based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Pre-test a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. Do not use solvents to spot clean.

Cleaning: Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to restore appearance. Hot water extraction or steam cleaning is not a recommended cleaning method. Cushion covers should not be removed and laundered. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to remove dust and grime is recommended. When cleaning a spill, blot immediately to remove spilled material. Clean spots or stains from the middle of the affected area to prevent circling. Use a professional furniture cleaning service when an overall soiled condition has been reached.

Care and cleaning: Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with mild detergent solution. Next, wipe with a clean cloth dampened with water to remove residual detergent. Dry in shade away from direct heat. A soft bristle brush may be used to remove ingrained soil. Avoid scratching by gentle brushing. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Keep at a minimum of 30cm away from direct heat source. Do not clean with hot water extraction machine. Do not wet excessively. Do not use abrasive powder or paste cleaners. Avoid overspray from cleaning products where fabric is in close proximity.

Spot cleaning: Clean as above. If advised to use a cleaning product, the third party takes full responsibility and Profile Fabrics’ warranty is void.

  Care Label

For use on acrylic foam back fabrics and flock coated fabrics of both man-made fibres and cotton. Regular care will minimise the need for additional cleaning.

Gently vacuum with appropriate attachment. Always exercise caution when spot cleaning. Test clean on non-exposed surface. Avoid excessive rubbing and abrasion. Remove hooks, rings and trims before cleaning.

Cleaning: Possible shrinkage 3%

Dry cleaning ℗: Use specialist curtain dry cleaners as recognised by the soft furnishings industry association of Australia inc.

For perchloroethylene: Solvent temperature 18-20°c. No moisture, gentle cycle, moderate loading (approximately 50% capacity) to minimise mechanical action.

One bath dry cleaning procedure: 3 minutes passing through the filter, reduced mechanical action, 2 minutes drain to tank or still, 2 minutes extract to tank or still.

Two stage dry cleaning procedure: 25 minutes drying at 55°c, then 6 minutes drying at 35°c. Deodorise 6 minutes or until curtains are cool.

For white spirit or hydrocarbon: Standard cleaning practices are appropriate. Hang curtains upon removal from machine. Do not iron/press coated side. Warm iron/press on fabrics side only. Washing: Curtains are heavy when wet. Professional wet cleaning recommended.

Do not wash in washing machine: Hand wash in cool to warm water (max. 40°C). Mild detergents such as wool mixes are recommended. Do not bleach, soak, rub or wring. Drip dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Hang curtains by their hooks to avoid coated sides touching. Do not use pegs. Do not fold curtains over clothes lines. Do not iron/press coated side. Warm iron/press on fabric side only. Possible shrinkage 3%. For detailed code of practice for cleaning coated fabrics, dry cleaners are encouraged to contact D.I.A.

  Care Label

For use on polyester/cotton, polyester mixture and polyester fabrics, woven or knitted.

Cleaning: Remove hooks rings and trims before cleaning. Gently vacuum regularly with appropriate attachment.

Washing: Warm hand wash. Do not bleach. Do not rub or wring. Drip dry in shade. For best results hang curtains by their hooks to damp dry immediately. Use warm iron lengthways. Iron out fold line with commercial steam iron. Dry cleanable ℗ 50. Possible shrinkage 3%.

 

  Care Label

For use on printed or dyed cotton and linen fabrics not pigment dyed.

Cleaning: Remove hooks rings and trims before cleaning. Gently vacuum regularly with appropriate attachment.

Washing: Warm hand wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Drip dry in the shade without delay. For best results hang curtains by their hooks to dry. Use warm iron lengthways. Dry cleanable p 50. Possible shrinkage 3%.
