Dulux Colour of the Year 2024

Every year interior designers are eager for Deluxe to release their 2024 trend palettes that predict the kind of colours we will see for the next twelve months.

This year is all about passion and life with deep blues, exotic greens and rusty reds. We’ve chosen our favourite colours from the three palettes and coordinated it with our high-quality fabrics. Stay on trend this year with these three design stories.

Exotic Green’s

Colours of sage, olive and fern have taken over interior design for the better part of 2023 and it seems 2024 will be no different. Coordinate Dulux’s Xena with Caress Willow, Mondo Willow & Bliss Celadon. With these three shades of green, you will bring a sense of calm and relaxation into a space as well as an essence of style and eclectic taste.

Royal Blue’s

For the past decade, blue has taken a back burner in interior design but with the rise of maximalism and colour, its comeback is sure to shape design for 2024.

Bring a sense of warmth and sophistication to a room with these shades of blue. Magnum Ocean, Chandon Marina & Coco Emerald. For Australian interior design blue fabrics represent the glistening waves of the ocean and the gorgeous summer skies. Pair blue with your favourite colour of tan for a tonal, warm look.

Red Trend

Shades of red have always been a staple as it gives a sense of luxury as well as a balanced pop of colour. However, in these past twelve months, a bright shade of red has been taken over by tones of brown and yellow.

Coordinate this gorgeous colour with your favourite leather look, City Club Sienna to achieve sophistication and style. However, coming into 2024 textures and soft touch will be all the rage and Bliss Rustica & Keesha Rust are the perfect on-trend choice.
